The IT staff is recommending it only have SP1 when preinstalled, and users that already have SP1 should ‘wait and see’. Understandable from the viewpoint of the people that will have to go fix any problems that occur.(tags: SP1 Deployment )

Consider the following scenario:
- You are running a Windows Vista-based computer that has multiple display adapters in a Linked Display Adapter (LDA) configuration.
- You use the Driver Test Manager tool on the computer to run a Windows Hardware Quality Lab (WHQL) test that includes a Logo stress subtest.
In this scenario, the Logo stress subtest triggers a Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) aperture corruption. Therefore, the WHQL test does not finish successfully.

On a Windows Vista-based computer, you are playing an .mpg file format movie file in full-screen mode in Windows Media Center. However, when you press ALT+TAB to switch away from Windows Media Center, one of the following symptoms may occur:
Symptom 1
You receive an error message that states that Windows Media Center has stopped working.
Symptom 2
Windows Media Center displays a black screen.
Symptom 3
You receive the following error message:
