Security Upgrade Required
The owner of the protected content you are trying to access requires you to first upgrade some of the Microsoft digital rights management (DRM) components on your computer.
Click OK to upgrade your DRM components.
If you click OK, Windows Media Center starts the security upgrade process. However, the upgrade process may never move on to next page as expected. Additionally, the pointer remains in a busy state during the upgrade process.
When this problem occurs, a 0xc00d277e error code is logged in the IndivlastHR registry entry. For more information about this registry entry, see the “The IndivlastHR registry entry” section.
When you try to upgrade Windows Vista to a more advanced version of Windows Vista, you may receive the following error message:
Windows could not configure one or more system components. To install Windows, restart the computer and then restart the installation.

If you try to install a universal serial bus (USB) device on a Windows Vista-based computer that was upgraded from Microsoft Windows XP, you may receive one or both of the following error messages:
Error message 1
Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device.
Error message 2
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. Disk Device. Parameter is incorrect.
Note: An example of a USB device is a thumb drive or a USB disk.
Additionally, the USB device does not appear as expected in Device Manager. Device Manager may display one of the following conditions:
If you view the properties of the USB device, you receive the following error message in the Device status area:
This device is either not present, not working properly, or does not have all the drivers installed. Try upgrading the device drivers for this device.
