Where Adobe Shockwave Version 10 did not officially support Microsoft Windows Vista, Version 11, released yesterday, now does. Though many were able to use the previous version, 64-bit users especially found many issues trying to get it to run properly, or at all. Director MX 2004 and Shockwave Player 10 do not officially support Microsoft Windows Vista. Adobe Technical Support will provide troubleshooting suggestions unless it is determined to be a problem with the operating system. Upgrading to Director 11 and Shockwave Player 11 provide support for Microsoft Windows Vista. Director 11 and Shockwave Player 11 were released on March 25th, 2008 and support Microsoft Windows Vista.
