When you download and try to install Adobe Reader 9 on Windows Vista, the installer returns the error message:
Error 1311. Source file not found: C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Setup Files\READER9\Data1.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

When you install Adobe Acrobat 8.1 or later or Adobe Reader 8.1 or later on Windows Vista, you see the following error message during the installation process and the installation fails:
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly

When you try to install Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader in Windows Vista, you receive an error message that resembles one of the following.
Message 1
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package ‘Adobe AdobeApplication.msi’ in the box below.
Message 2
Error 1714. The older version of Adobe [AdobeApplication] cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group.
