In Windows Vista, when you try send a picture by using e-mail, the Photo E-mail wizard does not send the picture. Instead, the wizard closes.

This problem occurs when you use one of the following methods:

• You right-click a picture, click Send To, and then click Mail recipient.
• You select a picture in Windows Photo Gallery, and then click E-mail in the taskbar.

When you edit the properties of a photo to add metadata in Windows Vista, the third-party software that is included with the digital camera may no longer recognize some proprietary metadata that the digital camera automatically adds to the photo. This metadata is specific to the manufacturer of the camera.

On a tablet computer that is running Windows Vista, you play a slide show in Windows Photo Gallery. When the slide show is playing, you use the Tablet PC Settings component in Control Panel to change the screen orientation. After you change the screen orientation, the screen goes black.
