Network Driver Interface Specification Test: A test suite provided by the Microsoft Windows team to verify network, modem, NDIS IM, and WinSock Direct drivers and devices. NDISTest is used by the Windows team to verify devices that are to be shipped with the operating system and it is used by Windows Hardware Quality Lab (WHQL) as part of logo testing and driver signing.
NDISTest consists of a collection of test scripts for each device type. Device driver developers may run all the available tests for the device driver they are developing or they may select only the test or tests that are pertinent to the phase of development.
