When you install update 938371 from Windows Update, you may lose access to the USB mouse or the USB keyboard on a computer that is running Windows Vista.
Notes
- This problem occurs when a very specific chain of events occurs in a specific order. This problem is not common. But when this problem occurs, it is very difficult to troubleshoot because you may lose access to the mouse and the keyboard. And, such access is required to troubleshoot the problem.

On a Windows Vista-based computer, you can capture a screenshot by pressing PRINT SCREEN on the keyboard. However, the screenshot unexpectedly includes the mouse pointer.
This behavior occurs if the following conditions are true:
- You have configured the computer to use the Windows Aero color scheme feature.
- You either move the window or resize the window while you capture the screenshot.
Note: This behavior may also affect some third-party screen-capture programs such as Camtasia Studio.

When you select “Switch primary and secondary buttons” in the Mouse control panel on Windows Vista, the image window in Adobe Photoshop CS3 freezes in place. The image window does not move when you attempt to click and drag it, or it moves intermittently before becoming frozen in place. This occurs when Photoshop CS3 is in Standard Screen Mode. Maximized Screen Mode and Full Screen Mode are not affected.
