When you try to install the license package on a Windows Vista-based computer, you receive an error message that resembles the following:

When you try to activate Windows Vista Enterprise or Windows Vista Business, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:

DNS Name does not exist

This issue may occur if you use volume-licensed media to install Windows Vista Enterprise or Windows Vista Business.

When you use Windows Vista, you receive the following error message:

“An unauthorized change was made to your license.”
To keep your system stable, you must go online and validate that your software is genuine:
- Validate Online
- Close

When you try to view the Microsoft Software License Terms in a program in Windows Vista, the license terms appear in the incorrect language. This problem occurs only after you configure Windows Vista to use a language other than the language that was set when you installed Windows Vista.
