Symptoms:
Intel’s Gen2 chipset is not allowing for CrossFire functionality to be enabled under both xp and Vista.
In the Catalyst Control Center, putting a check mark on the CrossFire box will report an error indicating to check cables, or to ensure that communication between the two cards are good.

On an Intel Ultra Mobile Platform-based computer that is running Windows Vista, the Windows System Assessment tool (Winsat.exe) displays incorrect processor information. Therefore, the Windows Experience Index score is lower than the actual score.
Note: The code name for Intel Ultra Mobile Platform is “McCaslin.”
For example, you open a command prompt by using an administrator account. Then, you run the WinSAT.exe –v command at the command prompt. The processor cache size that appears in the command output is not consistent with the processor cache size that is described in the processor’s product documentation.

Symptoms:
When the FireMV 2400 PCI or PCIE is installed in a system with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the system stalls at the windows loading screen after the FireMV 8.253 drivers are installed.
The problem does NOT occur when Windows drivers (Standard VGA) are installed.
This behaviour has been noted with multiple FireMV 2200 configurations. A single FireMV 2200 card works in systems with Intel Core 2 Duo-Processors.
