After you try to start an application that requires administrative credentials in Windows Vista, a User Account Control dialog box appears and asks you for permission to continue. If you click Continue to switch from a user account context to Admin Approval Mode, a second User Account Control dialog box prompts you to provide the password for an administrator account. However, the desktop and the Tablet PC Input Panel are unavailable when the Tablet PC Input Panel is running in Admin Approval Mode. Therefore, you cannot use the Tablet PC Input Panel to type your credentials in the dialog box.
