On a Windows Vista-based Tablet PC that has Microsoft Office Outlook installed, the Windows Search Indexer crashes. When this issue occurs, you receive the following error message:
Microsoft Windows Search Indexer stopped working and was closed. A problem caused the application to stop working correctly. Windows will notify you if a solution is available.
When the Windows Search Indexer crashes, you cannot search in Outlook. In this situation, you must restart both the Windows Search Indexer and Outlook.
