Consider the following scenario. On a computer that is running Windows Vista, you create an application that uses the Open With functionality in Windows Photo Gallery. The program uses the IDropTarget interface to import the selection. When you select items in different directories, no items are imported.

If you select a single item, this behavior does not occur. If you select multiple items, the application cannot open the images in one instance of the application.

You cannot import only a part of video from a videotape by using Windows Movie Maker in Windows Vista. For example, when you start the Import from Digital Video Camera wizard in Windows Movie Maker, you do not have the option to import only part of the video from a connected digital video (DV) camera. The only available option is Import the entire videotape to my computer.

If you select the Import the entire videotape to my computer option, Windows Movie Maker rewinds the videotape to the beginning and then starts to import all the videotape to the computer.
