On a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, you try to convert the file format of an image file by using an image-conversion application. However, when you convert the image file from the Enhanced Metafile (EMF) file format to the Enhanced Metafile plus extensions (EMF+) file format, the arc lines in the image file are displayed incorrectly.
Note: This problem occurs when the arc line is drawn with the same starting point and the same ending point. For example, the arc line is a complete circle.

You print a document that contains some images on a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008. However, in the print output, black rectangles are shown in the place of the images.
This problem occurs when you print documents by using certain applications. For example, assume that you print a PDF document in Adobe Acrobat Reader and the PDF document contains a full-page bitmap. Then, you print the document by using the “2 pages per sheet” setting. In this scenario, you notice black rectangles in the print output.

Consider the following scenario:
- You connect a Windows Vista-based or a Windows Server 2008-based computer to a multifunction peripheral (MFP) device.
- You set the MFP device to support the tiff-single-g4 format.
- On the computer that is connected to the MFP, you try to import an image from the MFP device. To do this, in Windows Photo Gallery, you use the Web Services on Devices (WSD) scan function that is included with the MFP device.
In this scenario, the import operation fails.
