Consider the following scenario. You have a Windows Vista-based computer that runs Windows Media Center. The computer uses a Phase Alternating Line (PAL) or Systeme Electronique Couleur Avec Memoire (SECAM) TV tuner. You use the Set Up TV Signal Wizard to configure Windows Media Center to use the PAL or SECAM TV tuner. In this scenario, when you view the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) or when you switch channels, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
- Different services have the same channel number.
- A service is assigned an unexpected channel number.
- Some available channel numbers are not assigned to a service. Therefore, there may be gaps between channel numbers.
Note: This problem is more likely to occur with users who live near the border of a foreign country and who can receive services from two countries.

You may also lose the EPG channel listings for the sub-channels of these channels. Additionally, the recordings that you schedule cannot run.
