When you add the Windows Sidebar Calendar gadget to the desktop of a Windows Vista-based computer, you may notice that the date displays incorrectly in the Windows Sidebar Calendar gadget.
Note: Although the Windows Sidebar Calendar gadget shows the incorrect date, the system clock still shows the correct date.
This problem will occur if the following conditions are true:
- The computer is set to use a time zone in which the daylight saving time change starts at midnight, such as the (GMT-3:00) Brasilia time zone.
- In the Time Zone Settings dialog box, the Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time check box is selected.

You create an appointment and a new task in Windows Calendar on a Windows Vista-based computer. However, when you restart the computer, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
Windows Calendar has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Additionally, an error message that resembles the following may be logged in the Application log:

If you use a non-Gregorian calendar format in Windows Vista, you may not find the file that you want when you use Advanced Search to search by date.
For example, this problem occurs if Japanese (Japan) is selected in the Current format list, and if either of the following conditions is true:
For another example, if Arabic (Saudi Arabia) is selected in the Current format list, the results of a search by date may be offset by one or more days.
Note: The Current format list appears on the Formats tab of the Regional and Language Options dialog box.
