A SSTP connection to an external SSTP server from a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 does not work

Assume that you dial a Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol (SSTP) connection to an external SSTP server from a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 in an environment that has forward proxy configured. In this situation, the connection is unsuccessful. Additionally, you receive an 11004 error:

Host not found
