Application may stop responding when it accesses some NFS shares from the Client for NFS component in Windows Vista, in Windows Server 2008, in Windows 7, or in Windows Server 2008 R2
Consider the following scenario:
- You install the Client for NFS component on a computer that is running Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 R2.
- You try to access some Network File System (NFS) shares on a server that has the READDIRPLUS remote procedure call (RPC) feature disabled.
In this scenario, the application that accesses the shared folders may stop responding.
