You cannot print multiple pages on one sheet by using a Canon printer on a computer that is running Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 R2
Consider the following scenario:
- You install a Canon printer and a Canon printer driver on a computer that is running one of the following operating systems:
- Windows Vista
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows 7
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- You run an application that uses the XPS Print API. For example, you view and print a webpage in Windows Internet Explorer 9.
- You configure the printer to print multiple pages on one sheet of paper. For example, you click 2 on 1 in the Page Layout list when you try to print the webpage.
In this scenario, the print job fails. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following in a Script Error dialog box:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: [Line number] Char: [Char number] Error: Your file waiting to be printed was deleted. Code: 0 URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js
