Stop error in Windows Vista and in Windows Server 2008 when you try to print a document: “0x0000003B” or “0x0000007f”

On a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista, you receive one of the following Stop error messages when you try to print a document.

Stop 0x0000003B (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4) SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
Stop 0x0000007f (0×00000000, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4) UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP

Note:

  • The parameters in these error messages vary, depending on the configuration of the computer.
  • Not all “0x0000003B” and “0x0000007f” Stop error messages are caused by this problem.

Additionally, the computer may restart automatically.
