Software installation fails when you use Windows Installer 4.5 in Windows Vista or in Windows Server 2008

You have Windows Installer 4.5 installed on a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008. When you try to use Windows Installer 4.5 to install some software, the Msi.dll module stops responding. Therefore, you cannot install the software.
