Some data is corrupted when cached and noncached I/O operations occur by using the same NTFS file handle
When an application or a service performs cached I/O and noncached I/O operations, the cache exists in stale data. Therefore, one of the following issues may occur after a while:
- Data corruption occurs when the stale data is flushed to the file.
- Unexpected results occur when the application or service reads the stale data.
