A computer stops responding when you try to access a network share file and when the computer is running Windows vista or Windows Server 2008
Consider the following scenario:
- You have a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008.
- Client-side caching is disabled on the computer.
- You try to open a network share file on the computer.
