Internet Explorer 8 stops responding when you use the IME Pad to enter East Asian characters in an Internet Explorer 8 window in Windows Vista or in Windows Server 2008

On a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, you use the Input Method Editor (IME) Pad to enter East Asian characters, such as Chinese, Japanese or Korean, in an Internet Explorer 8 window. In this scenario, when you try to close the Internet Explorer 8 window, Internet Explorer 8 stops responding.

When this problem occurs, you must end the Internet Explorer 8 process in Task Manager.
