Some applications may crash after you try to close a dialog box in these applications on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista. Additionally, you have to force exit these applications to recover from this issue.

For example, you may encounter this issue when you import clients into a collection in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007. If you do this by using the Configuration Manager 2007 console, a dialog box closes that causes the computer to crash.
