Windows Metafile format is rendered to Enhanced Meta File format on a computer that is running 64-bit version of Windows Vista or of Windows Server 2008
On a computer that is running 64-bit version of Windows Vista or of Windows Server 2008, you insert a shape into a PowerPoint presentation. Then, you save the shape as a picture and select the Windows Metafile (WMF) format. However, the shape is rendered with the Enhanced Meta File (EMF) format.
This problem may affect all applications that use WMF format in 64-bit version of Windows Vista or of Windows Server 2008.
