The Windows Hardware Error Architecture in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 cannot report the correct source for machine check exceptions.

Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 support the Windows Hardware Error Architecture (WHEA) feature. However, the bank configuration information for machine check exceptions is incorrect in the Hardware Error Source Table (HEST) for WHEA. Therefore, WHEA cannot report the correct source for machine check exceptions.
