Wake-on-LAN functionality does not work on Windows Vista-based computers that use Broadcom network adapters and that have the _OSC method enabled
Consider the following scenario:
- You have a computer that uses a Broadcom network adapter.
- You enable the Wake-on-LAN (WOL) functionality on this computer.
- The computer has the Operating System Capabilities (_OSC) method enabled to configure power management.
In this scenario, the computer does not resume from hibernation (S4) or from standby (S3).
