Invalid data is written when you burn an ISO image onto a DVD+R Dual Layer disc on a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008
On a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, you burn an ISO image onto a recordable DVD disc. However, when you verify the integrity of the DVD disc that you have burned, invalid data is detected, and the verification process fails.
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- The burning application uses IMAPIv2.
- The recordable media that you use is a blank DVD+R Dual Layer (DL) disc.
- The burning application is configured to finalize the disc after all the data is written to it.
- The ISO image that you burn to the disc has an odd number of sectors.
Note: This problem occurs only when you burn certain images.
