A Transact-SQL statement randomly fails to commit and causes data corruption in Windows Vista and in Windows Server 2008 when you use the statement to operate on a FILESTREAM column in SQL Server 2008

On a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, you use a Transact-SQL statement to operate on a FILESTREAM column in Microsoft SQL Server 2008. When you do this, the statement randomly fails to commit and causes data corruption.

This problem occurs when multiple users are using Transact-SQL statements to operate on the same FILESTREAM column.
