When you restart a computer that is running a 32-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, the system may stop responding.
This problem occurs only occasionally,. Specifically, it occurs approximately one time in every 1,300 restarts. Therefore, you typically discover this problem only when you run restart tests.
Note: This problem does not occur on 64-bit versions of Windows Vista or of Windows Server 2008.
