ShopWindows Server 2008 and Windows Vista will not fall back to legacy interrupt support from MSI-X interrupts after a firmware downgrade
Consider the following scenario. You downgrade the firmware of a device that supports MSI-X interrupts to firmware that only supports Legacy Line-based hardware interrupts.
