I have applications that work with windows vista that are not on their approved list. Why? Because it takes a professional lobbying effort to get microsoft to include your program. And I’ve found that some of the programs on their list are buggy with vista or don’t seem to work at all. Developers claim driver incompatibilities, but it is more complicated than that.
