ShopYou cannot import an image file from an MFP device that supports the tiff-single-g4 format to a Windows Vista-based or Windows Server 2008-based computer
Consider the following scenario:
- You connect a Windows Vista-based or a Windows Server 2008-based computer to a multifunction peripheral (MFP) device.
- You set the MFP device to support the tiff-single-g4 format.
- On the computer that is connected to the MFP, you try to import an image from the MFP device. To do this, in Windows Photo Gallery, you use the Web Services on Devices (WSD) scan function that is included with the MFP device.
In this scenario, the import operation fails.
