ShopA hotfix is available to update the daylight saving time for the “(GMT+02:00) Cairo” time zone for the year 2008 in Windows Vista, in Windows Server 2008, in Windows XP, and in Windows Server 2003
The government of Egypt has announced a new time zone end date for Egypt for the period of 2008. The new time zone information is as follows:
- Daylight saving time starts at 23:59:59 on the last Thursday of April, 2008.
- Daylight saving time ends at 23:59:59 on the last Thursday of August, 2008.
