Windows Security Center does not detect the antivirus application that is installed on a Windows Vista-based computer
You have a Windows Vista-based computer that has an antivirus application installed. However, Windows Security Center does not detect that a valid antivirus application is installed on the computer. Instead, Windows Security Center displays the following statuses for firewall and malware protection:
- Firewall: Windows Firewall is turned off.
- Malware protection: Windows did not find antivirus software on this computer.
