Windows Media Center stops responding when you open an online service in Windows Media Center on a Windows Vista-based computer
Consider the following scenario:
- On a Windows Vista-based computer, you have the Tablet PC Input Service enabled and running.
- The Tablet PC Input Panel has started.
- You open an online service in Media Center. For example, you open an Internet TV program or an online movie in Windows Media Center.
In this scenario, Windows Media Center may stop responding. Sometimes, the online service can load its content. However, Windows Media Center responds slowly when you try to interact with it.
When this problem occurs, you have to restart the computer or wait for Windows Media Center to reload the main page.
Note: In this scenario, you cannot end the Windows Media Center process in Task Manager.
