You receive a “STOP 0x0000010E” error message on a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer

A Windows Vista-based computer or a Windows Server 2008-based computer may restart unexpectedly. Additionally, you may receive a Stop error message that resembles the following:

*** STOP: 0x0000010E (0×00000002, 0×00000001, 0×00000000, 0×00000000)

Note: The four parameters in the “STOP 0x0000010E” error message may vary, depending on the actual configurations.

This problem typically occurs when you are running an application that requires lots of graphics processing. For example, this problem may occur when you play a video game on the computer.
