The Public folder is inaccessible after you upgrade from Windows Vista to a different version of Windows Vista. This includes the following:
- You upgrade from the beta release version of Windows Vista to the release version of Windows Vista.
- You upgrade from Windows Vista to a different version of Windows Vista. For example, you upgrade from Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows Vista Ultimate.
