Error message when you try to install updates on a computer that is running Windows Vista: “WBEM_E_CLASS_HAS_INSTANCES (0×80041026)”

When you try to install updates on a computer that is running Windows Vista, the installation process fails. Additionally, you receive the following error message:

WBEM_E_CLASS_HAS_INSTANCES (0×80041026)

Note: This issue may occur when you try to install Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1).
