Microsoft today took the next step in the Windows Vista Service Pack 1 saga by releasing a version that works with more than the five base languages handled by the original version of SP1. Now available for 36 languages, SP1 can be downloaded via Windows Update (recommended), or you can obtain it from Microsoft’s Download site:

• 32-bit Windows Vista Service Pack 1
• 64-bit Windows Vista Service Pack 1

Some full integrated DVD downloads are are available through MSDN and Technet, with more appearing in the next few weeks.
