The icon size does not increase when you increase the default icon size in the “Window Color and Appearance” dialog box on a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer

When you increase the default icon size in the Window Color and Appearance dialog box on a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer, the icon size does not increase. Instead, the space between the icons increases.
