When you connect an eSATA device to a computer that is running Windows Vista with SP1, the device does not work as expected

When you connect an external SATA (eSATA) device to a computer that is running Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Vista does not discover the newly connected device. Therefore, the device does not work as expected.
