Error message when an application has 30 or more processes that call the AddFontResource() function or the RemoveFontResource() function, and the function uses the same fonts at the same time: “STOP: 0×8E”
On a Windows Vista-based, Windows Server 2003-based, or Windows 2000 Server-based computer, an application has 30 or more processes that call the AddFontResource() function or the RemoveFontResource() function. Additionally, the function uses the same fonts at the same time. In this scenario, the computer may restart, and you may receive the following stop error message on a blue screen:
STOP: 0×0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xBF972BDC, 0xF5DE1AEC, 0×00000000)
