An application does not receive clipboard viewer messages if Windows Media Player 11 is running, or Windows Media Player 11 does not share .dvr-ms files
You may experience one or more of the following symptoms when you use Microsoft Windows Media Player 11.
Symptom 1
Consider the following scenario. You are using an application that is registered to receive clipboard viewer messages. The application receives clipboard viewer messages by using the WM_CHANGECBCHAIN notification through the WindowProc function. In this scenario, if Windows Media Player is running, the application does not receive clipboard viewer messages. When you close Windows Media Player, the application still does not receive clipboard viewer messages.
Symptom 2
Windows Media Player 11 does not share .dvr-ms files. When you use the Media Sharing feature in Windows Media Player, .dvr-ms files that you recorded by using Windows Media Center are not shared to digital media receiver (DMR) devices.
