The item may not be selected when you use the windowless SELECT control to create a list in Internet Explorer 7

Consider the following scenario. You use the windowless SELECT control to create a list in Windows Internet Explorer 7. You use the mouse to open the list, and then you use the keyboard to select an item in the list. In this scenario, the item may not be selected.

Notes:

  • This problem does not occur if you use the windowed SELECT control by changing the registry key.
  • This problem does not occur if you do not use the mouse to open the list or to close the list.
