I suppose that’s one way of doing it. I was a little disappointed to see that the second sound source was itunes. Does anyone know how to get two instances of WMP to run. I won’t install itunes on my machine; I hate that mess of a programme.

It could be any other program, like WinAmp or Foobar for instance. I don’t find any ways to run two instances of WMP, but I bet you could probably create two Foobar installs by renaming the exe and do it that way.

start–>run: mplayer2.exe
It’s the old media player 6.4. You can launch as many of these as you want.

That doesn’t work on my system. Using this command still brings up one instance of WMP 11.
