On a Windows Vista-based computer, the language settings and the keyboard settings are displayed incorrectly in the “Country or region” page of the OOBE Wizard
Consider the following scenario:
- On a Windows Vista-based computer, you run the Out Of Box Experience (OOBE) Wizard.
- You configure the settings on the Country or region page of the wizard. These include the country settings, the language settings, and the keyboard settings.
- You return to the Country or region page from the Set Up Windows page.
Note The Set Up Windows page is where you type a product key to activate Windows Vista.
In this scenario, the language settings and the keyboard settings are incorrect. These settings do not reflect the settings that you actually configured.
