You use the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) scanner on a Windows Vista-based computer to perform a scan in an application, such as Adobe Photoshop. If you click Cancel during the scan operation, the application does not function correctly. For example, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:
- You receive an error message.
- The application stops responding.
- The application crashes.
