The screen may be black or the menu screen may be unresponsive in Windows Media Center in Windows Vista
You use a computer that is running Windows Vista Ultimate or Windows Vista Home Premium. When you use Windows Media Center to watch a DVD or to watch TV in full-screen mode, the computer goes to sleep. However, when the computer wakes up, the screen may be black. Or, the Media Center menu screen may be unresponsive.
Note: You may still hear audio by using the arrows on the keyboard to move around the Media Center menu.
