It doesn’t, as far as I can tell. (But you can manually restore it using Add New Hardware on the Control Panel.)
More important, it properly removes the new, tightly bound Symantec Network drivers that are installed with NAV 2008 beta that are very difficult to manually uninstall after a failed installation on Vista. (The INF file for these drivers specifically states that they can’t be uninstalled.)
